A Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) is a course worth at least 3 ECTS credits. It offers a flexible form of mobility by combining a physical component with a virtual one. Courses bring together both teachers and students from several European countries.
There are two types of BIP courses: those organised by Dalarna University and those organised by other higher education institutions within the EU.
Different rules apply depending on whether the course is organised by us or by one of our partner universities.
How to apply
Before applying for a BIP organised by one of Dalarna University’s partner universities:
- Read about the course you are interested in to make sure you meet the entry requirements and that the dates for both the online component and the on-site week suit you. At the bottom of each course description, you will find a link to the application form where you can submit your details.
- The BIP you wish to take must be eligible for credit transfer within your degree at Dalarna University. This means your participation must be approved by the course coordinator.
- Once you have received approval from the course coordinator, contact the Erasmus coordinator. You will receive instructions on how to apply for the BIP, what to include in your application, and information about scholarships and insurance.
Make sure to complete all steps well in advance and before the application deadline.
