About RECAST
RECAST is a forum for researchers and doctoral students from all disciplines to meet and discuss research relating to sustainability, share knowledge, promote interdisciplinary collaboration, widen networks, and develop collaborative partnerships. RECAST is open to anyone who is interested in the role of research in the transition to a sustainable society. RECAST seminars are conducted in English.

Innovation for Sustainability

In the next RECAST seminar we will focus on Innovation for Sustainability.
Dalarna Region is quite low in the ranking among Regions in Sweden in Innovation. What do we need to become better at innovating? How can research contribute to an Innovative and Susatinable Dalarna? How do we at Dalarna University research on sustainability innovations?
We will have some inspiring talks about our research at Dalarna University, but also on how can we move from research to practice.
Still, Dalarna University is only one part of the picture. We will also connect to BOOST project (Boost Dalarna - Region Dalarna) and come together with the actors to discuss what is innovation for researchers and for the society.

How Dalarna University Publications Address the SDGs
Academic publications can be connected to sustainable development and the UN's 17 Global Goals (also known as SDGs - Sustainable Development Goals). It is up to you, the researcher, to determine whether your research relates to one of these.
You can read more about the goals on The Global Goals website. On the Scopus database webpage, you can find every Dalarna University publication that is connected to one or more sustainable development goals, grouped according to the 17 global goals. On the Staff Web is information on how to connect your publications to the SGDs.
