New international students to Dalarna University are encouraged to join an introduction information session before the semester starts. The introduction day for new students starting in the autumn 2023 will be August 25th, 2023.
When: August 25, 2023.
Where: Campus Falun
During the introduction day you will
- Meet staff from the most commonly used support services
- Meet current/previous students who can provide first hand advice about living and studying in Dalarna.
- Get information about the student union activities and student discounts
- Be able to ask questions of university staff and students
Our goal is to provide a concise and interactive session that will help you feel prepared and welcomed to begin your studies. Additional information about your studies will be provided by your teachers after the semester begins.
Welcome Ceremony for all new students
Please note that there will also be a Welcome Ceremony for all new students on the morning of August 28th. This ceremony will primarily be held in Swedish however you will have the chance to meet other new students. Be sure to check your schedule to make sure you do not have classes scheduled the same time as the Welcome Ceremony.
