Pick-Up Service

Dalarna University, together with Dalastudent (the student union), offers a free pick-up service for new students arriving by train or bus to Borlänge or Falun before the start of the semester. The deadline to reserve the pick-up service is August 18.

The pick-up service is available from 08:00 to 20:00 on the following days:

Tuesday, January 12, 2027
Wednesday, January 13, 2027
Thursday, January 14, 2027

If you are arriving to Borlänge or Falun outside the dates and times the pick-up service is offered, you can take a taxi from the bus/train station to your pre-booked accommodation.
There are often taxis parked outside the stations when trains arrive from Stockholm however if no taxis are present, the numbers you can call to order a taxi are 023-153 00 (Falun) and 0243-22 88 00 (Borlänge).
