On completion of the course, students will be able to:
demonstrate knowledge of the development of sports journalism
demonstrate an understanding of the distinction between written public relations and journalistic writing
demonstrate the ability to conduct interviews for journalistic and public relations purposes
demonstrate the ability to produce reports, columns, and other articles for journalistic or public relations purposes
demonstrate an understanding of ethical considerations in journalistic publication
demonstrate an understanding of and adherence to deadlines
Mandatory online meetings will be held according to the schedule.
