Tourism Marketing

The course consists of two modules. The first module introduce basic concepts, theories and models in marketing, marketing conditions and marketing strategies, including the role of brands and brand strategies, product decisions, pricing, distribution and market communication. The second module adresses the analysis of marketing strategies and markets with a focus on the market environment and consumer behavior. A particular focus is given to marketing practices and its application in tourism. Destination marketing and branding in general are introduced.
