Russian IV: Oral Language Proficiency

On completion of the course, students shall be able to:

  • explain different language styles of Russian
  • explain the characteristic differences between standard Russian and the spoken language
  • analyse regional and social variations of Russian
  • transform spoken language texts into standard Russian and vice versa
  • use relevant vocabulary, and grammatical and syntactic forms in different registers.
