Italian A: Phonetics and Oral Proficiency

Starts week 36, 2025

The course includes a review of pronunciation and the basic phonetic features of the Italian language, with practical exercises in pronunciation. The course also imparts basic skills to develop communicative abilities in spoken standard Italian. Topics in Italian culture, current debates and everyday life are treated from an intercultural perspective. The students are also trained in planning and carrying out oral presentations.

Mandatory, scheduled seminars and exams are conducted online in a virtual classroom (no physical meetings). Participation requires an internet connection, headset with microphone and headphones and a standalone webcam.
