Upon completion of the course, students will be able to:
- discuss and evaluate terms and concepts used in research on cultural encounters from different perspectives
- apply relevant theories in the field of intercultural studies to the analysis and interpretation of literary texts
- explain and discuss the academic background and identity of intercultural literature studies in relation to other subject disciplines
- in writing and speech communicate and argue for their own interpretations
- discuss other students‘ written work by giving constructive criticism.

- Bachelor Degree of 180 credits in the field of Humanities, Social Sciences or Education and English 6. No knowledge of Swedish is required.

Higher rate of web-based communication where our learning platform (Learn) is a natural element of the course. Web-based meetings with sound and image where simple presentations can be held. Lectures can be broadcast live or can alternatively be made available afterwards online.
