Description

With a focus on loneliness among older adults, this project aims to:
1) summarise research on consequences of loneliness in terms of health and mortality;
2) conduct a systematic review of longitudinal articles on risk factors for loneliness;
3) examine the prevalence of loneliness among older adults in the Nordic countries and which factors that are associated with loneliness in this group; and
4) identify successful interventions to reduce loneliness among older adults in the Nordic countries.
