Description
Physically based models for microstructure development and mechanical properties during hot deformation will be applied on different processes at the steel industry. The purpose is to explain and solve problems in the processes and also use calculations to find process routes for optimal microstructures and properties. In all cases the calculations will be verified versus process data and achieved microstructures.

Five different industrial hot deformation processes will be studied.
