Outbound Exchange Studies and Traineeships

Take the opportunity to discover other parts of the world as part of your Dalarna University studies. Apply to go on an exchange to one of our partner universities or investigate the traineeship (internship) opportunities that are available abroad. Often, you can seek a grant to do so.

Study at a Partner University

Students at Dalarna University can apply to study at a foreign university that we have an exchange agreement with. There are no student fees. For an Erasmus+ exchange programme, you can receive a grant and you can also take a preparatory language course.

Traineeship (Internship) Abroad

Erasmus+ traineeships offer you the chance to gain international work experience during your studies. In addition to giving you a great opportunity to learn about another culture, they also give you a strong advantage as you enter the job market. You will receive a grant and you can also take a preparatory language course.

Grants

Erasmus+ students receive a grant of € 510- € 560 per month plus a travel stipend (the amount depends on the country of destination). Trainees receive a top-up of €150, and if you choose green travel, an additional grant.
