Starts week 36, 2026

After completing the course, the student shall be able to:

  • analyze and evaluate nursing theories and concepts related to current research on person-centered care
  • describe the epistemological basis for person-centered care 
  • analyze and apply advanced knowledge in person-centered care for persons with dementia
  • analyze the meaning of sustainable development in relation to intersectionality, cultural aspects and laws on safe care for persons with dementia
  • search, analyze and apply current national and international research in the caring sciences related to dementia care.
