Spanish III Focus on Literature: Bachelor Degree Thesis

Starts week 3, 2024

Upon completion of the course students will be able to:

  • demonstrate an ability to independently search for, collect, evaluate, critically interpret and analyze relevant information in relation to a certain problem
  • within given deadlines carry out an independent literature study, with requirements for scholarly value, connections to current research, relevant methodology applied to the theoretical context and an argumentation that rests on a thoroughly conducted textual analysis
  • present and argue in both oral and written form their own results with high demands of linguistic communication skills
  • analyze, evaluate and discuss others‘ scientific works by pointing out the merits as well as the shortcomings in the form of clear constructive feedback.

Computer Skills:

Surf on the Internet, read and send emails, use a word-processing programme (e.g. Word). Plug in peripherals to your computer, install programmes and adapt installations for your computer.

Access to a computer (Not a mini pc, tablet or similar) that is not older than two years (or equivalent) and broadband connection, at least 2 Mbit/s (not mobile broadband, because mobile broadband can vary considerably in speed).

Means of Education:

Higher rate of web-based communication where our learning platform (Learn/Canvas) is a natural element of the course, as are web-based meetings using sound and image. Lectures can be broadcast live or can alternatively be made available afterwards online. Use more advanced programmes – for example, simulation programmes.
