Portuguese: African Literature in Portuguese

This is a part-time course (7,5 higher education credits) that includes the analysis of African literary works in Portuguese. A number of representative contemporary literary works from Angola, Cape Verde, Guinea-Bissau, Mozambique and Sao Tomé e Prinicipe are studied and contextualized in their specific esthetic, cultural and political discussion that have engaged the African authors (see Course Syllabus). All seminars take place online (no physical meetings). To participate in the seminars, you must have a broadband internet connection, a microphone, headphones and a web camera.
