För studerande antagna före hösten 2007, och för de som läser mot en examen för förskola, förskoleklass, fritidshem eller grundskolans tidigare år, gäller att studenten är godkänd på hela inriktningen om 90 högskolepoäng eller motsvarande. Dessutom krävs specialiseringar motsvarande 90 högskolepoäng.
