Russian IV: Grammar and Written Language Proficiency

Starts week 11, 2026

On completion of the course, the student should be able to:

  • demonstrate basic knowledge of clause types in Russian
  • describe characteristic differences between different clause parts of the sentence and describe their functions in Russian
  • apply relevant syntactic constructions in the translation of chosen texts into Russian and use Russian conjunctions in a correct way
  • demonstrate basic knowledge of the stylistic characteristics of Russian through the translation of chosen texts into Russian
  • write their own texts in Russian with different stylistic characteristics.
