During the course, students develop their ability to carry out syntactic analyses of chosen Russian texts from a theoretical perspective. In practical exercises (translations and students’ own texts), students apply their knowledge of Russian syntax and punctuation rules. Students also deepen their knowledge of Russian word order and stylistic characteristics. The course gives insights into historical syntax and the development of different Russian styles.
Mandatory online meetings will be held according to the schedule.
