Portuguese: Grammar and Written Language Proficiency I

On completion of the course, students will be able to:

  • use basic grammatical terminology to describe Portuguese language usage
  • identify grammatical forms when reading simple texts and reviewing their own texts and texts of other students
  • demonstrate knowledge and understanding of different basic grammatical concepts and different grammatical forms in their own Portuguese language use
  • describe basic differences and similarities with other languages as well as between Portuguese language varieties.
