On completion of the course, students will be able to:

  • use Chinese proficiently in professional business activities
  • use appropriate expressions in various social contexts and at a workplace
  • use appropriate expressions in everyday work in business life
  • use appropriate expressions in business negotiations and the drawing up of contracts, in discussions about collaboration, and in analyses of market trends
  • describe briefly the characteristics of Chinese business culture and business life, including trade, market environment, marketing, and the establishment of business relations.
