The overall goal is for students to acquire in-depth knowledge and skills in IT architecture that includes IT methods and solutions.

Knowledge and understanding
After completing the course, students will be able to:

Explain basic structures and components regarding IT architecture, including methods and models.
Describe IT architecture solutions and their applications.

Skills and abilities
After completing the course, students will be able to:

Analyse different application problems, in which specific competence is required for the design and development of IT architecture.
Apply modeling methods to describe IT architecture for different types of organisations.
Develop IT architecture solutions based on established theories.

Evaluation ability and approach
After completing the course, students will be able to:

Evaluate IT architecture methods and frameworks.
Assess situations where a suitable IT architecture solution is applied with expected results.
Assess the quality of modeling results for different application problems.
