This course teaches students to independently identify a research question and to plan and conduct a study in a scientific manner. Supervision sessions and seminars offer the students opportunities to discuss different ways to define and delimit research problems, choose theoretical stances, methods, and data collection techniques. During the course, the students will practice the development of conceptual models and how to collect and analyze relevant information. The final thesis must be written in accordance with established scientific principles. The thesis will be orally presented at seminars that also include opposition of other students’ thesis manuscripts.
