Organisational Change and Leadership

The course presents and treats theories on organizational development in general. It departs from an historical analysis of the generation of organizational concepts and with corresponding scientific classifications. In the course there is also an initial emphasis on the driving forces behind the generation of organizational concepts. The course content thereafter focuses on different organizational types as arenas for potential developments, and brings up different organizational projects and the results of them. Finally, the course treats ethical and moral issues with regard to organizational development.

During the course several real cases are treated and the students become prepared for conducting analysis and suggest solutions for similar cases. This is done through that the participants are presented with seminar assignments with regard to the real cases.
