Course EG1012

Fluid Dynamics

7.5 Credits
First Cycle

Starts week 14, 2026

In total, the course comprises three components. The first component is the fundamentals of fluid dynamics, including fluid properties, steady/unsteady uniform/non uniform compressible/incompressible flow, analysis approaches, continuity principle, and viscosity. The second component is the applied design and modelling of natural air flow ventilation in a building. The third component is turbine mechanics, involving the theory and design of wind and water power systems.

Exchange Week in Lingen, Germany As part of the course, students will have the opportunity to participate in an international exchange week in collaboration with Osnabrück University in Germany. The activities take place at their campus in Lingen, where we have an established academic partnership. During the exchange week, participants will engage in laboratory sessions, lectures, study visits, and excursions related to fluid dynamics. This provides hands-on experience, international exposure, and insight into different teaching and research environments
