Upon completion of the course, students will be able to:

  • apply Religious Sociological Concepts and Theories in relation to Children and Young Adults in Closed Religious Environments
  • on the basis of micro, meso and macro level discuss the view of children and young adults in closed religious communities
  • critically reflect on and argue for the relevance of different religious sociological perspectives in relation to children and young people in closed religious communities
  • discuss and problematise the complexity of Various Actors‘ Current Debate about Children and Young Adult‘s Opportunities and Limitations.
