Upon completion of the course, students will be able to:

  • demonstrate in-depth knowledge of teaching Chinese grammar, pronunciation and vocabulary
  • independently perform teaching-related tasks such as assessment, preparation, planning, implementation and evaluation
  • demonstrate in-depth understanding of the role of teacher of Chinese as a foreign language
  • critically evaluate the internship experience in relation to their future professional role.
