After completing the course the student shall be able to:

  • Estimate heating demand for buildings in cold climate and relate to the Swedish building energy requirements (BBR)
  • Describe the design, the function and application of heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems for low energy buildings in cold climate.
  • Analyse and describe the interaction between different technical HVAC systems and the building itself.

Entry Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Science degree from building-, energy technology or civil engineering related fields, or a similar degree of at least 180 credits. Documented language proficiency knowledge equivalent to English B/English 6 at Swedish upper secondary school or equivalent knowledge
