Description
The aim of the research project is to study students’ critical thinking and research use in relation to evidenced based nursing during training in a nursing baccalaureate program and after one year of clinical practice as nurses.

A longitudinal quasi-experimental design is used where cohorts of students are followed through the trajectory of their bachelor programme in nursing and followed up after one year of professional clinical practice. Students approached during their first term receive educational intervention1 during their second term and a new intervention2 during their fifth term. Students approached in the middle of the education receives the intervention1 during their forth term. The design allows comparison within cohorts of students as well as between groups from different cohorts.
