Tighter national restrictions – restricted access to university buildings and facilities

Up to and including January 24, 2021, all doors to university buildings and facilities will be locked to restrict access to the general public. Students and staff will continue to have access using their keycards.

On December 18, 2020, the government tightened national restrictions for the Christmas period, and these will remain in place up to and including January 24, 2021. The recommendation is, therefore, that students continue to study from home. Up to and including January 24, 2021, all doors to university buildings and facilities will be locked to restrict access to the general public. Students and staff will continue to have access using their keycards.

This means that the University Library on both campuses will be closed to the general public, although employees and students will continue to have access. Most of the library’s services can be found on its webpage. If you still plan to visit the library, remember to maintain distance from others and to follow the guidelines and instructions that are on display on the various signs.

To contact the university, call 023-77 80 00 or email support@du.se. You will receive the same prompt service by telephone or email as you would at the reception desks.
