New and stricter Covid-19 recommendations apply for Dalarna

The Swedish Public Health Agency and Region Dalarna have decided that additional and more far-reaching measures to prevent transmission of infection are to apply in Dalarna. In view of this, the University Management are working on what needs to be done to live up to the recommendations.

The purpose of the recommendations is to limit the rapidly increasing spread of infection in all parts of the region. The Swedish Public Health Agency’s general guidelines for Dalarna mainly include considerably more rigorous guidelines concerning everyone’s personal responsibility to reduce the spread of infection, but also include more stringent guidelines for organisations and workplaces.

The recommendations apply from November 12th until December 13th 2020.

As before, students and staff are asked to keep themselves informed via the Swedish Public Health Agency website and the University’s dedicated coronavirus webpages.
