Jubin was nominated with the following motivation:
"Jubin’s passion for sustainability led him to network with Swedish companies, assist in organizing Dalarna’s first Solar Energy fair, and identify market opportunities for new solar technologies. He represents and inspires his peers, assists in labs, and mentors first-year students while achieving top grades. Sweden taught him to balance work and personal life and how to swim (he helped arrange a free swim course so international students could enjoy summer in Dalarna.) Modest, sincere, and outstanding, he is our Global Swede."

About the Global Swede Award
The Global Swede award is awarded to active, committed and enthusiastic students who are excellent in areas closely related to innovation, creativity and entrepreneurship and shown that they are good representatives of their own country as well as Sweden.
This year is the eleventh-year jubilee of the Global Swede award.
