Representing Dalarna University were Kristofer Sidenvall and Susanne Corrigox, who presented the university's teacher education programmes and its international collaboration, after which Dalarna University received membership in the network.

One of the purposes of the network is to give the students of the member institutes of higher education experience through exchanges. The network also works with, for example, teacher exchanges, the exchange of experiences, and the organisation of conferences.

The network currently comprises some 60 member institutes that offer teacher education. Most members are European universities, but universities from Asia and North America are also network members.
