"This is both exciting and amazing. I am so pleased that our students and the general public will have the chance to meet the world as a result of the visit by Naohisa Inoue," states Anita Carlsson, Faculty Director in the School of Humanties and Media Studies at Dalarna University.
The artist Naohisa Inoue is in Sweden to visit his daughter Miyoko Inoue, who works at Dalarna University as a lecturer in Japanese. It was as a result of her initiative that her father is coming to Dalarna, where he will share his experiences as an artist.
Naohisa Inoue has worked with Hayao Miyazaki, one of Japan's best-known animators and film directors. Naohisa Inoue's visit is a unique opportunity for students and others to hear about what it is like to work with anime and the world-famous Studio Ghibli.
The lecture by Naohisa Inoue will take place at 14.00 and is open to everyone who wants to hear Naohisa talk about the artistic process and digitalisation of anime.
