Underway this week at Dalarna University was the well-attended event Africa Days, that brings together researchers and students from a number of countries.
The fact is that not many are aware of the international programme that is offered at Campus Falun and that brings together a student group that is internationally diverse.
The local newspaper, DalaDemokraten, met with language professor George Alao of the Institut national des languages et civilisations orientales, Paris, who declared the programme to be the best of its kind in this particular field of study.
DUCAS is the acronym for Dalarna University Centre for African Studies. It offers a master's programme that was established 12 years ago.
