18 Million SEK for Research into Migration and Reproductive Health

Partner in a programme application, Dalarna University has just been awarded the funding for research in the field of migration and integration.

The programme is entitled "Migration och jämlik sexuell och reproduktiv hälsa: Betydelsen av kulturella värderingars dynamik och samskapande för förbättrad praktik" (Unofficial Translation - Migration and Equal Sexual and Reproductive Health: The Significance of the Dynamics of Values and Co-Production for Improved Practice).

The aim of the programme is to further develop the many years of cross-disciplinary research in the field of sexual reproductive health and rights from the perspective of migration.

Involved from Dalarna University are Professor Marie Klingberg-Allvin and Senior Lecturer Fatumo Osman. Other institutes of higher education that are involved in the programme are Uppsala University (Professor Birgitta Essen, Senior Applicant), Karolinska Institutet (Professor Kristina Gemzell-Danielsson) and Malmö University (Associate Professor Aje Carlbom).
