The reception that follows the ceremony will be held in the Campus Falun atrium (main hallway).
The leaving ceremony is for programme students who completed their studies in autumn 2025 or who will be completing their studies in spring 2026. The reason it is a leaving ceremony and not a graduation ceremony is that not all students will have received their degree before the end of the semester.
During the ceremony, which will be held in Swedish, there will be speeches from, among others, the university's Vice-Chancellor and the student union's chairperson. These will be available in English on the university's (du.se) website during the ceremony.
The event will be followed by a reception on Campus Falun. Students, friends and family are welcome to attend both the ceremony and the reception.
As a student, you are welcome to invite up to four guests to attend the ceremony and the reception afterwards. You indicate this when registering.
Parking is available in the university's car park. There are also several parking areas in the Lugnet area, close to the arena.
Photos will be taken at the event for communication and marketing purposes. If you do not wish to appear in our photos, please inform the photographer or university staff at the event. If you have any questions or want to request the removal of a photo, contact support@du.se.
