Summary in English

The overall objective of the course is that students will acquire basic skills in performing electrical work from the schema documentation covered by BB1 limited permission and comply with applicable safety regulations for electrical equipment, electrical appliances and wiring.
After completing the course the student should be able to:

  • Explain the meaning of the basic electrical concepts.
  • Describe and perform simple calculations on the basic electronic components.
  • Apply the rules, laws and regulations relevant for the care and maintenance of existing electrical infrastructure.
  • Apply the basic methods for solving problems of DC and AC circuits.
  • Practically install, trouble shoot and maintain electrical systems.
  • Produce and interpret documents for easier controls of motors and other electrical equipment.
  • Describe the environmental requirements for the work covered by BB1 permission.
  • Work proactively with electrical safety.
