Learning outcomes for the course
The aim of the thesis is that the student should be able to apply advanced knowledge in the field of material technology by performing a research or industrial work. More specifically, the student should be able to:
- independently planning and carrying out a project in a scientific way
- document this work in a systematically way in a report
- demonstrate knowledge and understanding in materials technology, including both an overview of the area and in-depth knowledge in certain parts of the field as well as insight into current research and development work
- identify their need for further knowledge and take responsibility for their knowledge development
- present and defend your own work and oppose the work of others orally and in writing
