The student shall at the start of the course, in consultation with supervisors and stakeholders at an organisation related to tourism, hospitality or leisure, decide an agreed project. The project should be guided by the student‘s knowledge and the stakeholders‘ needs. The project is self-directed but supported through the guidance of both Dalarna University staff and a responsible person within the chosen organisation. This support is specific to the individual student‘s need for advice or information within the organisation, group or team. The student‘s choice of an organisation influences the design and content of the project. Throughout the project, the student shall engage closely with their contact within the organisation.
