Portuguese: Bachelor Degree Thesis

Starts week 4, 2026

This part-time course (15 higher education credits) includes writing of a scientific study of about 6000 to 10 000 words, that is based on a well-defined literary or linguistic problem directly related to Portuguese literature or the Portuguese language (see Course Syllabus). The topic of the thesis is chosen in consultation with the supervisor. Only areas where guidance can be given by an advisor with research expertise may be considered. Some obligatory seminars take place online (no physical meetings) via the software Zoom. At the end of the course a final version of the thesis is discussed in a defence seminar where the
