Learning outcomes for the course
On completion of the course, students shall be able to:
- independently search for, collect, evaluate and critically interpret and analyze relevant scientific materials related to a research question on literature written in Portuguese or the Portuguese language
- within the given time-frame implement a literary or linguistic study with scientific value that relates to earlier research and that develops argumentation that is based on well-conducted literary or linguistic analysis
- in Portuguese, English or Swedish present and defend their results orally and in writing, showing a high standard of communicative competence in Portuguese
- have regard for ethical standards
- apply formal norms for scientific text
- analyze, evaluate and discuss their own scholarly work as well as that of fellow students by giving clear and constructive feedback that points out strengths as well as shortcomings.
