The course combines online and campus-based learning activities in which students collaborate in internationally mixed groups and use English as a shared language in project work. Students explore how inclusive learning environments are understood and designed in different national contexts, and compare various perspectives on participation, accessibility, and learner engagement. They take part in workshops, seminars, and collaborative tasks focused on planning inclusive and accessible learning environments in diverse educational settings.
During the campus-based component, students visit schools, observe classroom practices, and participate in teaching situations together with local teachers. As part of the course, students plan and deliver a lesson in a school context, employing multimodal, aesthetic, or other innovative approaches to support pupils’ learning and engagement. The online components prepare for and follow up on the school-based activities, and facilitate ongoing intercultural collaboration.
Literature lists are published at the latest one month ahead of the course start date.
