On completion of the course, students will be able to:

  • demonstrate basic knowledge of theories on language teaching and learning
  • discuss and reflect on their own language learning
  • discuss and reflect, both orally and in writing, on the course content
  • demonstrate written language proficiency by applying basic English grammar and writing rules
  • analyse and demonstrate how teaching materials can be used to teach English from a language didactic perspective.
