Learning outcomes for the course
Upon completion of the course, students will be able to:
- describe how basic concept-development methodology can be of value in a user-centred film development process
- apply basic concept-development methodology for short films
- describe how basic ethnographic methods can be of value in a user-centred film development process
- perform a user and target group analysis by applying basic ethnographic methods
- describe and apply the principles for project planning of short film productions
- justify the content of standard contracts when writing contract proposals for commissioned film productions
- write a project description that includes a production plan and budget
- create a user-centred film prototype to present to a client
- complete a project presentation that includes audiovisual media.
