Learning outcomes for the course

After completing the course, students shall be able to:

  • describe key concepts and terms to explain the linguistic structure of French and be able to apply these in conjunction with analyses
  • describe the main linguistic structures that distinguish French from another language - preferably Swedish or another Germanic language - and be able to present a discussion of a selection of these in a written work based on a self-selected, limited corpus.
