Learning outcomes for the course
After completing the course, students shall be able to:
- identify and explain the different grammatical problems in the French language
- apply their knowledge of French grammar in their own written work in French
- understand and summarize a longer text in French.
Students taking the course with contrastive focus shall in addition be able to:
- explain the grammatical differences between French and Swedish, and apply their knowledge in the translation of prose
- translate different types of texts from Swedish to French with linguistic certainty and stylistic ability.
