Implementation of New Practices in the Health Care and Social Care Sector

The overall goal of this course is for the student to gain advanced knowledge and understanding of the implementation of research-based knowledge in clinical practice.

After completion of the course, the student shall:

  • have insight into what facilitates and hinders the implementation of evidence in health care and social services,
  • be able to suggest strategies for facilitating implementation and overcoming barriers for evidence-based practice in health care and social services,
  • be able to critically reflect on the need for implementation research in health care and social services, and
  • have knowledge of scientific methods which can be used for knowledge implementation.
