Learning outcomes for the course
The overall goal of this course is for the student to gain advanced knowledge and understanding of the implementation of research-based knowledge in clinical practice.
After completion of the course, the student shall:
- have insight into what facilitates and hinders the implementation of evidence in health care and social services,
- be able to suggest strategies for facilitating implementation and overcoming barriers for evidence-based practice in health care and social services,
- be able to critically reflect on the need for implementation research in health care and social services, and
- have knowledge of scientific methods which can be used for knowledge implementation.
