On completion of the course, students will be able to:

  • apply models and processes in strategic management to conduct strategic analyses of organisations
  • critically discuss sustainability from economic, social and environmental perspectives in an organisational context
  • critically discuss how organisations can create value in a responsible and sustainable manner
  • critically discuss trade-offs, conflicts and ethical dilemmas that may arise in organisational activities between different stakeholders
  • analyse and assess the sustainability strategies of organisations in relation to organisational and institutional conditions.
