You may have already noticed that some courses use the learning platform Learn while others use Canvas. By autumn 2024, Canvas will be the only one in use at Dalarna University.
As a student at Dalarna University, you can borrow tickets for Dalasinfoniettan's concerts at the library – free of charge. Tickets for more concerts are now available!
Old university printers will be removed and replaced with new ones. This will take place on Tuesday March 19 and possibly March 20, on both Campus Falun and Campus Borlänge.
From 1 March, support services will not be open during the evening. The new opening hours for the Support Café in Zoom will be weekdays from 08.00 to 16.00.
The route will be closed from 20 February and will reopen 11 March. (Note, these dates are provisional.) During this time, there will be heavy hauling of materials, so please be sure to follow the signs that will be in place.

From 1 January 2024, Dalarna University will only issue digital degree certificates. A digital degree certificate contains the same information as a degree certificate in paper format.

As a result of requests from students, more study areas have now been made available both at Campus Borlänge and in the nearby building. These new areas will make it easier for students to find a quiet and more productive place for them to focus on their studies.
Two new webpages have been created to facilitate the academic work of our students. One webpage provides information about templates designed for student use, and the other is about student work, such as essays and theses.
On October 7th, the tool will be shut down and there are currently no replacement tools available. If you have a documented need to receive support in making written texts accessible please contact Student Health.

Starting this autumn semester, the library will have "extended hours" during certain times. This means that students and staff can enter with their key cards during specific hours when the library is unstaffed and closed to the public.
Campus Borlänge is under reconstruction, which has meant that some departments are now being housed in other buildings. One such building is the new pavilion (Hus P) directly outside the main campus building, which has several classrooms, computer labs, and network labs.
