Description
This PhD project aims to design, simulate and test a series of market-ready peer-to-peer (P2P) business models for photovoltaic (PV) in local energy systems, with a focus on energy communities in Swedish context. It will evaluate full processes of P2P electricity trading, including practical social challenge, organization structure, electricity/financial flows control, ownership, pricing, scheduling and trading rule in local electricity markets. Three different markets (local energy providers, local energy communities, and local energy markets) will be studied based on physics-informed machine learning (PIML) method, for an optimal evaluation of net present values (NPV) of energy communities in operation. Economic viability of and cost-sharing fairness will be assessed by qualitative and quantitative social surveys.
