On Monday, September 2, 2019, each campus will hold a Welcome Ceremony for all programme students at Dalarna University.
- Campus Falun: 8.30 a.m. at Jalas Arena (note location change) in Falun - located right beside campus
- Campus Borlänge: 10.00 a.m. at Galaxen in Borlänge - located in the town centre of Borlänge, about 15 minutes' walk from campus

Attendance at Roll-Call
(This is termed upprop in Swedish.)
Each teacher holds a roll-call at the start of courses/programmes (normally it constitutes the first class or seminar) either on campus or online. Check what applies for your programme by logging in to our learning platform Learn.
Start of Studies
You can find out what applies for each of your courses by accessing Learn (link in the previous paragraph) and locating your specific course. Your teacher will have included information there about what is expected of you in the coming days.
Meet New People
In the first two weeks of the semester, Dalarna's Student Union will be holding events for you to attend. This is a great way to get to know the area, find out what there is to do and, most importantly, meet new people, many of whom will be in your courses.
