At the moment, I am a management trainee in HR Baltics Coca-Cola HBC Lithuania. The Dalarna University programme definitely prepared me for a leading role in the company, and the study experience will certainly help me as I have learnt how to plan my work, how to think critically and how to find information myself (research skills).
On my first day here at Coca-Cola, I was presented with a project that I have to manage myself, and I believe I will do well due to the experience gained during my studies. I must also say that I would have never gotten this position without the degree from the Master's Programme in Business Studies with an International Focus.
In my experience, the degree wasn't that helpful for finding a job in Sweden; however, it is well recognised abroad (in my case the United Kingdom where I worked just after my graduation and in Lithuania now). As well, the experience i had studying alongside so many students with different nationalities was also extremely useful since I can only see myself at an international company.
